Recipe for Coconut Jelly

Ingredients:

  • 400 milliliters Coconut Milk
  • 100 grams Tapioca Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Agar Agar Powder (adjust according to preference)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 100 grams Granulated Sugar (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Mixing the Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, mix together coconut milk, tapioca flour, agar agar powder, salt, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract (if using). Stir until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
  2. Boiling the Coconut Milk:
    • Transfer the coconut milk mixture to a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. Stir constantly to prevent the mixture from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  3. Pouring into Molds:
    • While the coconut milk is boiling, pour the mixture into molds or a tray. If you don’t have molds, you can use a bowl or a parchment-lined tray.
  4. Setting the Coconut Jelly:
    • Allow the coconut jelly to cool slightly, then place it in the refrigerator to set. This will take some time, so be patient to allow the coconut jelly to set properly.
  5. Cutting the Coconut Jelly:
    • Once the coconut jelly has set, remove it from the refrigerator and use a clean knife to cut it into desired shapes or cubes.
  6. Serving:
    • Serve the coconut jelly chilled. Enjoy the smooth and coconut-flavored jelly!

Tips:

  • If you want to add fruits or colorful pearls to your coconut jelly, you can do so by placing them in the molds before pouring the coconut milk mixture.
  • You can serve the coconut jelly with sweetened syrup or alongside ice cream if desired.

I hope you enjoy making and savoring your Coconut Jelly!
