How to make “Kluay Buatchee” a sweet Thai dessert menu.

Banana ingredients:

  • 8 Namwa bananas (choose young, not very ripe)
  • Coconut milk 225 ml.
  • Coconut milk 300 ml.
  • 2 pandan leaves
  • Palm sugar 30 grams
  • 20 grams of white sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon tapioca starch

How to make Banana Buatchee:

  1. Steam the peeled bananas in boiling water for 3 – 5 minutes, then turn off the heat.
  2. Peel and cut the bananas into small pieces.
  3. Set the pot over medium heat. Add coconut milk and pandan leaves and boil until boiling.
  4. Add palm sugar. Add white sugar and salt and stir until dissolved.
  5. Put in the sliced bananas. Bring to a boil again.
  6. Put in the coconut milk. and leave it to boil for another 3 minutes.
  7. Scoop into bowls and serve.
