Banana ingredients:
- 8 Namwa bananas (choose young, not very ripe)
- Coconut milk 225 ml.
- Coconut milk 300 ml.
- 2 pandan leaves
- Palm sugar 30 grams
- 20 grams of white sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon tapioca starch
How to make Banana Buatchee:
- Steam the peeled bananas in boiling water for 3 – 5 minutes, then turn off the heat.
- Peel and cut the bananas into small pieces.
- Set the pot over medium heat. Add coconut milk and pandan leaves and boil until boiling.
- Add palm sugar. Add white sugar and salt and stir until dissolved.
- Put in the sliced bananas. Bring to a boil again.
- Put in the coconut milk. and leave it to boil for another 3 minutes.
- Scoop into bowls and serve.
